Your first guide

A guide has three parts: what you need before you start, the steps in order, and how you know it worked. The third part is the one most often missing, and it is the one that stops a reader wondering whether to carry on.

When two guides keep explaining the same background, that background is a concept page. Link both of them to it rather than repeating it twice.
